Our Stadtküken Nature-Kita Mühle combines the charm of a listed half-timbered building with modern, sustainable equipment. In the large, nature-oriented garden by the Wandse, children can romp, explore, and experience nature.
The bright group rooms in the historic building combine the charm of old times with a modern, child-friendly design. There is plenty of space for playing – and cozy corners for retreating, reading, and relaxing.
Mindfulness, participation, and nature pedagogy shape our daily life. In our 'Ackerracker' vegetable garden project, children experience how food grows from small seeds. They take on responsibility, learn to handle plants mindfully – and feel how effective their own actions are.

Our rooms
Bright half-timbered rooms with modern play and learning materials, cozy reading corners, and lovingly designed areas for role play, building, and creative activities.
Outdoor area
Our large, nature-oriented outdoor area is located directly by the Wandse – well protected by a high fence and climbing protection. Tipis, swings, and log paths invite children to play and explore. The Wandse brings exciting animals up close and offers children a lively natural space to marvel and explore.
